Appointment Information

We believe rehabilitation success must respect your personal needs. That is why we offer flexible consultation and treatment options.

 

INITIAL CONSULTATIONS

Initial appointments typically last 40-60 minutes depending on your problem. However, shorter consults are available if required. Please call our team to discuss your circumstances and for advice.

During your initial consult our clinician will perform a comprehensive physical assessment of your problem, discuss your injury and identify any barriers that may limit rehabilitation success. Following this you will receive any relevant treatment you require to help with your pain and get your rehab started.

 

FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS

Typical follow up appointments last 30minutes, however this can vary depending on your circumstances and needs. We can also provide Teleconference and video link consults if required.

FEES

As your injury and circumstances are individual to you, we do offer a variety of consultation fee options and bulk bill under certain circumstances. Please contact our team to discuss our fees.

Rebates / GAP Fees

Medicare Rebate

  • The above fees will be charged and a gap fee will apply
  • Medicare clients will receive $58.30 OFF  the relevant appointment cost
  • Relevant medical referral and paperwork must be completed and provided to the clinic prior to the appointment

DVA Rebate

  • The above fees will be charged and a gap fee will apply
  • DVA clients will receive up to $70.80 OFF the above appointment cost
  • Relevant medical referral and paperwork must be completed and provided to the clinic prior to the appointment

Private Health

  • We accept all major private health fund providers
  • We advise you discuss your rebates with your health fund provider prior to your appointment stating Codes 500 (initial appointments) and 505 (follow up appointments)
  • All rebates can be processed via your providers app, via phone or in branch by yourself
  • Alternatively, we can process your rebate for an additional fee

WorkCover

  • No out of pocket costs providing you have been issued a WorkCover case number
  • If you do not have a WorkCover case number, you will be charged the full appointment fee
  • You may be eligible to redeem some of the fee from WorkCover once your WorkCover case number has been issued

Third Party Insurance/  Accident Cover

  • Private Insurers are seen at the clinic
  • You must clarify the ‘Medical treatment Plan’, or ‘Therapy Provider Plan’ with your insurer prior to your appointment to ensure the type of appointment and full cost of any appointment will be covered
  • You may be charged for your appointment if you do not have the relevant paperwork or permission from your insurer
